The Tele is finished. I had this idea for a background that sort of looked like a quilt. It was not working at all, so I glazed over the whole thing in burnt sienna and scraped back the wet paint in places. I like the effect. And now the guitar doesn't look like it is floating in space. The other is the Alvarez again. I was trying to make it look like it was dissolving into the the background. It still needs some work. I like how the fret board turnout of though. I reworked it a couple times and finally ended up with something that didn't make me want to scream. It's mostly a process of trial and error with me. I don't really know what I'm doing! But that's part of the fun. You never really know when you start what you will end up with. Sometimes it is a disaster and sometimes it is a pleasant surprise. Kind of like LIFE!!
